We are pleased to announce the formation of a new team competing in the Late Model Division at Wisconsin International Raceway with John Meidam as the driver. The team is new but the faces are not. The team name is Sweere/Northland Racing. The Sweere is Rick & Melanie Sweere. 

Rick has not only been a long time sponsor of John Meidam as a Partner of Consolidated Construction Company but also is also a former racer/competitor back in the days of the Sport Trucks. Rick and John have formed a great friendship that has lasted long after Rick's racing days. Rick has since sold Consolidated Construction and is a partner of Midwest Properties of Appleton. So When John spoke to Rick about not having a car to drive for 2007 the decision was made to start a new team. The Northland is Corey Defferding, owner of Northland Electrical Services. Northland Electrical Services has also been a great sponsor of John's for the past 4 years. Rick and Corey have formed a partnership and a wonderful team Sweere/Northland Racing.

The car will still be draped in red as it will proudly display Budweiser as the title sponsor. We are fortunate to have gained some new sponsors as well, such as Advantage Heating and Cooling and Tuttle Lake Wood Working to name a couple.
