But for the 2004 racing season, Lewis has elected to join forces with another card distributor, Simes Graphic Designs, of Mandan, ND. Simes Graphic Designs has been marketing cards under the label Dacotah Racing Trading Cards and is taking on these type of print jobs for photographers nationwide. Jay Simes, owner of Simes Graphic Designs, says “It’s a win-win situation for all drivers. The name of the game here is volume. With the addition of our printing of HOTSHOTS Racing Cards, prices can stay on the low end of driver’s annual racing costs.”

According to Dan Lewis, HOTSHOTS Racing Cards, “Mary and I are pretty excited with Simes’ graphic packages with 12 different styles to choose from. Custom artwork is done at no extra cost to the drivers as well. Some other card printers have special prices for special events where we can now offer a special price 24/7. Over the past 15 years, our cards have been seen coast-to-coast, with the bulk of our business locally here in the NE Wisconsin area. Our joining forces will add some fantastic graphics to our already popular cards and will allow drivers to purchase 500 cards for as little as about $75.00, tax with shipping included. That should allow drivers including go-karters the opportunity to race like the ‘BIG BOYS’ that have had autograph cards for years.”
