FIRST PRACTICE OF THE YEAR SETS THE SEASON IN MOTION FOR THINDERHILL

(Sturgeon Bay WI) April 24 - Despite mother nature throwing a wrench in the works a total of 38 drivers braved the elements for car show/practice at Prestige Yacht Coatings ThunderHill Raceway. Saturday, May 1 at 6pm will mark the WDOR season opener, with IMCA modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, northern sport mods, NEW super stocks & 4 cylinders in action.
A total of 6 division were on hand with 11 IMCA Stockcars, 8 Sport mods, 7 NEW Super Stocks, 5 Hobby Stocks, 4 Modifieds and 3 4cylinders.
“Despite other area tracks opening and the threat of rain all day I’m very pleased with the response we received from fans and drivers,” said track promoter Bryan “Woody” Wodack “I’m very excited for the up coming season and were expecting record car counts for opening night”
