Stone, Vos Inc. of Bristol, TN. has announced that they will be holding a Motorsports Marketing Seminar on November 20th in Lansing, Michigan. The seminar, one of the first to ever be held in Michigan is tailored to short track racers and will consist of a 4 hour comprehensive program designed to enhance racers marketing programs.

" We are really excited to bring this seminar to Michigan for the short track racers. It will be a detailed, comprehensive and what we feel an extremely useful program for the local and regional racers. " commented Natalia Potter, spokesperson for Stone Vos Inc.

" Regardless if a racer is competing in a series or at their weekly track, this seminar should provide them with the tools necessary to professionally seek out meaningful sponsorship as well as enhance their individual marketing programs".

Marketing specialist Chris Throgmartin, a consultant who has specialized in corporate marketing and public relations programs with an emphasis in motorsports marketing and communications designed the seminar and its contents. With input from NASCAR, NEXTEL Cup teams, Fortune 500 companies and his 25 plus years of marketing experience, Throgmartin incorporated a broad based knowledge of corporate marketing techniques to enhance a seminar that is tailored for the racing community. Throgmartin will be in attendance at the seminar and will direct all 4 sessions.

"I want to deliver to the racers a complete marketing program that will better their chances for obtaining sponsorship. I have had such a demand for my services over the years and the typical grass roots level racer simply cannot afford their own marketing consultant. This seminar is something they can use to educate themselves and use to confidently go out and seek sponsorship on their own with a better understanding of how marketing works. The local and regional racers have been very good to me over the years, so this essentially is my way of saying thank you to all of them. " added Throgmartin.

Each seminar attendee will receive a working portfolio, a pre-designed proposal as well as contracts for using in the course of signing sponsors. The seminar will include 4 sessions that will encompass all aspects motorsports marketing in addition to ethics in racing, legal issues as well as tax issues. The seminar includes a 53 page manual with a host of information on motorsports marketing techniques including examples and easy to read diagrams. The manual has been valued at over $150 but will be included free with the seminar. Space is very limited and attendance will be assigned on a first come - first serve basis. Early indications predict a sell out and the company is advising customers to book their reservations early. Once the allotted seats are sold the seminar will be closed to the racing public and no further reservations will be taken.
